Here's a little excerpt of a conversation that PK and I had today:
PK: "Want circle cheese." (referring to the Babybel cheese)
Me: "Sorry PK, we don't have any."
PK: "Buy more!"
PK: "Want banana."
Me: "Sorry PK, we don't have any." (I did, but I was saving it for after daycare today.)
PK: (Smiling) "Buy more!"
This is really cute now, but is this a preview of things to come? Will we be having this same conversation a few years down the road when she's a teenager and wants me to buy Item X? I am bracing myself.
